House Rules

Identification

Every guest is required to have and send a valid form of identification prior to arrival. It is a legal requirement. We will provide the lockbox code after confirming the required identification. All overnight guests must be approved through the booking process and may be subject to an additional fee.

Keep it tidy

Please respect and treat our home as you would your own. Leave the furniture where it is. Communicate any issues you have as soon as you become aware of them so we can lend a helping hand. Keep in mind that you will be responsible for all costs of replacement items or repairs of issues caused by you. After using the kitchen, please leave everything as you found it. Have your meals in designated areas (kitchen or dining room) only.

Keys

Once inside the apartment, you need to use the key to lock the door. There is a hook nearby where you can hang the set of keys when you are inside the apartment.

When you go out of the apartment during your stay, please leave the key inside the lockbox instead of taking it with you. This will reduce the chance of it getting lost and allow multiple guests to be able to come and go without needing multiple keys.

Please be careful with the keys. A fee will be charged for any lost or stolen keys.

No Parties

No parties or events allowed. Drugs and heavy drinking are not allowed. Smoking only allowed in outdoor areas. Friends and visitors are only allowed in the property if they do not cause any noise or disruption.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours are between 22:00 – 8:00. During this time please limit noise level. If complaints are received from neighbors, we maintain the right to evict you from the property.

Smoking

Please respect that this is a non-smoking home. Smoking is only allowed in outdoor areas.

Wi-Fi

If you experience problems with the Wi-Fi, please call us (the router is not easily accessible, but we are happy to help solving any issues with the network).

Children

Please keep it in mind that the place is not child proofed. Children must be supervised at all times. If you are travelling with your baby, we can provide you some equipment to make your staying with them more comfortable – please see the Extra Services section.

Deliveries

Deliveries are not allowed, aside from food delivery.

Video cameras

There are surveillance or recording devices in the building. There is a camera that monitors the main areas of the building to ensure safety and prevent theft. There are no cameras inside the apartment.

Trash

Excess garbage may be placed in the bins in the courtyard of the building during your stay. We are environmentally aware and would appreciate if you could sort your rubbish into the recycling bins in the courtyard or separate bags before checking out.
Blue = paper/cardboard

Green = Landfill.

Environment

Before you go out or go to sleep please make sure everything that can be is switched off. Turn off any devices when you don’t need them. If you use an air conditioner, please make sure all the windows and doors in the room are closed. Remember to turn AC off or set reasonably before you go out.

Leaving the Apartment at the End of your Stay

When your stay is completed, and you are ready to check-out, please close and lock all windows. Turn off all lights and small appliances. Report any damaged or missing items to us.

Radiators

The radiators have a knob on them. A good level heat is between 2 & 3. They should be kept on throughout your stay and it takes time for the apartment to warm up if they are turned off. Please leave the same heat level on 2-3 when you check-out from the apartment.

TV
The Apartment consists of 2 smart TVs. One in the living room and one in the red room. The tv remotes are black.

Iron, Ironing Board, clothes drying rack and cleaning supplies

The iron, ironing board and drying rack are inside the closet storage next to the stove. A mop bucket and cleaning supplies are inside the closet storage next to the stove.

Hair Dryer

The hair dryer is kept in the drawer under the bathroom sink.

Air conditioner

There is an air conditioning unit in all rooms and commons areas. Each has a remote control mounted to the wall in the respective room. Press the ON/OFF button to power the AC. Select the temperature using the up and down arrow keys. A normal temperature is 22 degrees. If you press mode you can switch between fan/hot air/cool air.

Toaster

Insert the power plug into the socket and Insert up to two slices of bread in the browning slot. Use the browning control switch to select the desired degree of browning between 1 and 6 (1 = lightest; 6 = darkest degree of browning).

Press the toasting lever down until it engages. The toasting process starts automatically.

The toaster switches itself off automatically and the toasted bread is ejected when the desired degree of browning has been reached. The “CANCEL” switch can always be used to cancel the browning process.

Coffee Pot – Drip       

To make coffee in the American drip coffee maker, fill the top canister with water, place coffee in the filter, then press the ON button. It will run the cycle. You can remove the coffee pot to drink once the cycle is completed.

French Press

Preheat the French press by rinsing it with hot water, which helps maintain the brewing temperature. Add the ground coffee to the preheated press, followed by hot water just below boiling. Stir the mixture gently to ensure all the grounds are saturated, then it sleep for about 4 minutes. After steeping, slowly press the plunger down  to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee. Finally , our the freshly coffee.

Mixer/Blender

Start by assembling the blender base and ensuring it’s securely placed on a flat, stable surface. Next, add your desired ingredients into the blender pitcher, making sure not to exceed the maximum fill line. Securely attach the pitcher into the base, ensuring it’s properly locked in place. Select your desired blending speed or program using the control panel. Once everything is set, press the power button to start the blending process, allowing the blender to work until your ingredients reach the desired consistency. Finally, carefully remove the pitcher from the base.

Microwave

There is a microwave in the kitchen. To heat food, press the far-right triangle sign button once for 30 seconds time frame. You can keep tagging the button for the required heating duration.

Oven

To turn the oven, first set the temperature by turning the right knob. Use the left knob to select the required heating function. And press the start button.

Dishwasher

There is a dishwasher in the kitchen (below the sink). To turn on the power, press the power button on the left. Then select which cycle you want using the arrow keys and the corresponding number displayed on the screen and (+), (-) buttons to select the time duration.

Refrigerator

There is a refrigerator in the kitchen. Please do not change the temperatures.

Electric water kettle

Press the switch downwards. Light inside the water kettle will light up. Then start to boil the water. The kettle will switch off automatically.

Electric stovetop

With the help of the touch panel, press the ON button. You can precisely control the heat by touching the (+) and (-) signs. As the separate timers allow individual timing of each burner make sure you switch on the correct burner you prefer to use. After you done, please make sure to turn the dial back to (0). If you hold down activate the child lock and the cleaning function, so you can clean the surface after cooking.

It is easy to clean, just wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge, as food spills do not burn onto the surface.

Clothes washer/dryer

There is a dual washer/dryer in the main bathroom. To switch on the machine, press the ON button on the left. Then turn the dial to select the cycle. To wash then dry in one cycle, chose Wash + Dry. If you are only washing clothes, the wash cycles are on the left side of the dial. Turbo wash is usually sufficient for normal clothes. Press the right button to start the cycle. To dry, choose a cycle on the right side of the dial, then press the button on the right to start.

NOTE: you cannot dry more than 7kg in this machine, so do not try to dry a full machine.

Roller Shutters

Purple Room & Green Room – Use the arrow buttons to open or close the shutters. Press the (-) button to stop it mid-way if required.

Red Room – Use the arrow buttons to open or close the shutters. Press the (-) button to stop it mid-way if required. The top panel is for the left window and the bottom panel is for the right window.

Blue Room – Press the (0) button to close all shutters on all the windows. You can press the (+) button and the display will show the below numbers.

Number 1 – 1st shutter from the left

Number 2 – 2nd shutter from the left

Number 3 – 3rd shutter from the left

Number 4 – 4th shutter from the left

Number 5 – 5th shutter from the left

You can select the required shutter you would like to operate and use the arrows to close and open it individually.

Shower Head Device (Main bathroom)

Use the left knob to select the required shower head. Bottom dial is to fill the bathtub. Right dial is for overhead shower. Top and left dial is for the telephone shower head.

Vacuum

There is a vacuum is next to the dining room table. The top button on the handle turns it on. There is detachable handheld part as well.

EXTRA SERVICES

Sleeping

Extra pillows and blankets are available in advance upon request. The sofa bed can be set up as a bed in advance upon request. Black out curtains or shutters are available in all sleeping spaces. Please note that if you do not request extra bedding in advance and use any items out of any of the bags of bedding kept in the apartment, you will be charged a fee of 50€.

Extra cleaning

If your stay is longer than 10 days we are happy to provide free cleaning every 10 days with bed linen change.

If your stay is less than 10 days but still needs extra cleaning the cleaning fee would be 40€ and 5€ per guest for bed linen.

Each guest will be provided 1 big bath towel and 1 small towel beside the bed set up. Extra set of towels are available on request for a fee of 5€ per set.

Baby equipment

Baby equipment is available on request for the following fees: travel bed (6€), baby bathtub with seat (5€), bottle warmer (5€), sanitizer (3€), nasal vacuum cleaner (free of charge), highchair (10€). Please let us know at least 24 hours prior your arrival if you would like any item setup. We are adding baby equipment frequently and can recommend https://lottirose.com as a backup, please inquire if you feel you may need something not listed.

Supplemental heating

Supplemental electric heat may be available on request 5€
