HOUSE RULES

Identification

Every guest is required to have and send a valid form of identification prior to arrival. It is a legal requirement. We will provide the lockbox code after confirming the required identification. All overnight guests must be approved through the booking process and may be subject to an additional fee.

Keep it tidy

Please respect and treat our home as you would your own. Leave the furniture where it is. Communicate any issues you have as soon as you become aware of them so we can lend a helping hand. Keep in mind that you will be responsible for all costs of replacement items or repairs of issues caused by you. After using the kitchen, please leave everything as you found it. Have your meals in designated areas (kitchen or dining room) only.

Smart lock

When leaving the apartment during your stay, make sure to close the door properly by lifting the handle up and allowing the lock to engage. This ensures the apartment stays secure and allows other guests to come and go easily.

Please keep your access code private and do not share it with anyone outside your group.

No Parties

No parties or events allowed. Drugs and heavy drinking are not allowed. Smoking only allowed in outdoor areas. Friends and visitors are only allowed in the property if they do not cause any noise or disruption.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours are between 22:00 – 8:00. During this time please limit noise level. If complaints are received from neighbors, we maintain the right to evict you from the property.

Smoking

Please respect that this is a non-smoking home. Smoking is only allowed in outdoor areas.

If you experience problems with the Wi-Fi, please call us (the router is not easily accessible, but we are happy to help solving any issues with the network).

Children

Please keep it in mind that the place is not child proofed. Children must be supervised at all times. If you are travelling with your baby, we can provide you some equipment to make your staying with them more comfortable – please see the Extra Services section.

Video cameras

There are surveillance or recording devices in the building. There is a camera that monitors the main areas of the building to ensure safety and prevent theft. There are no cameras inside the apartment.

Trash

Excess garbage may be placed in the bins in the courtyard of the building during your stay. We are environmentally aware and would appreciate if you could sort your rubbish into the recycling bins in the courtyard or separate bags before checking out.
Blue = paper/cardboard
Yellow = Plastic/Aluminum
Green = Landfill.

Environment

Before you go out or go to sleep please make sure everything that can be is switched off. Turn off any devices when you don’t need them. If you use an air conditioner, please make sure all the windows and doors in the room are closed. Remember to turn AC off or set reasonably before you go out.

Leaving the Apartment at the End of your Stay

When your stay is completed, and you are ready to check-out, please close and lock all windows. Turn off all lights and small appliances. Report any damaged or missing items to us.

TV

There is a remote control for the television. The television remote is black. The TV is a smart TV, so you can use the built-in apps (like Netflix, YouTube, or others) directly from the TV without needing any additional devices.

Refrigerator

There is a fridge in the kitchen with a freezer on the bottom. You can use it to store your groceries, drinks, and snacks. Please make sure to close the doors properly after use to keep your food fresh.

Dishwasher

There is a dishwasher in the kitchen. To turn on the power, hit the power button on the left. Load your dishes, add a dishwasher capsule, select a wash program, and press start. When finished, wait a few minutes before opening and then unload the dishes. Please only wash items that are dishwasher safe.

Iron, Ironing Board, and clothes drying rack

The ironing board and drying rack are located under the stairs in the big bedroom with the gallery.

Bucket and cleaning supplies

A water bucket and cleaning supplies are in the entry closet and under the kitchen sink.

Hair Dryer
The hair dryer is kept in the main bathroom on the shelves.

Coffee Pot – drip

To make coffee in the American drip coffee maker, fill the top cannister with water, place coffee in the filter, then press the on button. It will run the cycle. You can remove the coffee pot to drink once the cycle is complete.

Toaster

Insert bread into the slots and push the lever down to use it.

Radiators

There is a thermostat that controls the heating for the entire apartment. A comfortable temperature is 22 °C. Keep the heating on throughout your stay, as it takes time for the apartment to warm up if it’s turned off. Please put the heating down when you leave the apartment, setting it around 20 °C. This helps maintain a cozy and consistent temperature during your stay.

Air Conditioner

There is an air conditioning unit in the living room and in each bedroom. You will find the remotes mounted on the wall holders. To turn on the air conditioning, press the on/off button and select the temperature using the up and down arrow keys; a normal temperature is 24 °C. Please do not change the mode on the remote and always keep it on COLD mode.

During winter, you can use the AC in hot mode if you want to warm up. You do not need to use the AC for heating regularly, as the radiators are sufficient

Microwave

There is a microwave in the kitchen. To heat food, turn the bottom knob to the amount of time you want. Use the top knob to adjust the power. The bottom button opens the door.

Gas Stovetop

Turn the each burner by pressing down on the knob and turning it until it clicks, then keep turning until the flame appears and the clicking stops. Then you can turn the knob to select the correct temperature.

Oven

Turn left know to choose a function and right know to set the temperature. Press middle button if needed to start.

Exhaust Fan

There is a light and exhaust fan above the stovetop. The left button turns on the light. The right three buttons are to turn on the fan at varying levels of power.

Electric Water Kettle

The power button for the kettle is at the top of the handle.

Clothes Washer/Dryer

There is a washing/dryer machine in the bathroom. Press start to begin button on the right. Add detergent on the left drawer. For a regular wash, select mixed fabrics and for drying, choose normal dry or time dry.

Vacuum

The vacuum is located under the stairs in the big bedroom with the gallery
