From and to the Airport

To get into the city from the airport, you can take a taxi directly from the official taxi stand just outside the terminal. You can also enter your destination address into a machine inside the baggage claim area to receive a printed fare estimate, which you can then bring to the taxi stand. Alternatively, you can book a ride through one of the car services listed below.

Public transportation is also available from the airport to the city center. The 100E airport shuttle bus goes directly to Deák Ferenc tér. Tickets for the 100E bus can be purchased at the purple ticket machines, on board the bus, or through the BudapestGO app.

Trains

There are three main trains stations in Budapest to travel out of the city to all over Hungary and Europe, Nyugati Pályaudvar, Keleti Pályaudvar, Déli Pályaudvar and Kelenföld. Each station goes a certain direction out of the city, so make sure you go to the correct train station.

Arriving from Keleti Pályaudvar:

Bus 76 (Trolleybus)

Departure from Keleti Pályaudvar:

1. Head to the Keleti Pályaudvar tram/trolleybus stop (right outside the train station).

1. Take Trolleybus 76 towards Jászai Mari tér. (4 Stops)
2. Arrive at Rózsa utca:

Arriving From Kelenföld:

Metro + Walking

1. Start at Kelenföld Metro Station (M4) and Board Metro Line M4 (Green Line) at Kelenföld vasútállomás M station in direction to Keleti.
2. Travel to Keleti Pályaudvar (9 stops)
• Ride towards Keleti Pályaudvar and alight at Blaha Lujza tér station (approximately 6 stops).​
3. Head to the Keleti Pályaudvar tram/trolleybus stop (right outside the train station).
4. Take Trolleybus 76 towards Jászai Mari tér. (4 Stops)
5. Arrive at Rózsa utca.

Arriving from Nyugati pályaudvar:

Bus 73

1. Locate the Keleti Pályaudvar M bus stop, which is adjacent to the train station.
2. Board Bus 73 heading towards Nyugati Pályaudvar M
3. Stay on the bus for 4 stops.
4. Get off at Izabella Utca/Kiraly utca.​
5. Walk to Rózsa utca 29 for 5 minutes.

Parking

Street parking is available in the city center for a fee of 600 HUF/hour, free after 10 pm until 8 am in the morning and from 10 pm Friday until 8 am Monday. For payments we suggest you download the ‘Simple’ application, because it is easy to track, and it shows the parking areas too.
