From and to the Airport

To get into the city from the airport, you can take a taxi directly from the official taxi stand just outside the terminal. You can also enter your destination address into a machine inside the baggage claim area to receive a printed fare estimate, which you can then bring to the taxi stand. Alternatively, you can book a ride through one of the car services listed below.

Public transportation is also available from the airport to the city center. The 100E airport shuttle bus goes directly to Deák Ferenc tér. Tickets for the 100E bus can be purchased at the purple ticket machines, on board the bus, or through the BudapestGO app.

Trains

There are three main trains stations in Budapest to travel out of the city to all over Hungary and Europe, Nyugati Pályaudvar, Keleti Pályaudvar, Déli Pályaudvar and Kelenföld. Each station goes a certain direction out of the city, so make sure you go to the correct train station.

Arriving from Keleti Pályaudvar:

 Trolleybus 78 (Fastest Option)

To get to Király utca 51 from Keleti Railway Station using Bus 78:

1. Board Bus 78 at Keleti pályaudvar M (Garay utca).
2. Stay on the bus until you reach the Király utca / Erzsébet körút stop.
3. Walk about 2 minutes to Király utca 51.

Estimated Travel Time:

• The whole journey will take around 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Arriving from Déli Pályaudvar:

Step 1: Take Metro Line M2 (Red Line)

1. Board Metro Line M2 (Red Line) at Déli Pályaudvar.
2. Travel towards Örs vezér tere and alight at Blaha Lujza Ter (6 stops).

Step 2: Transfer to Tram 4 or 6.

3. At Blaha Lujza tér, exit the metro and walk to the tram stop.
4. Board either Tram 4 or Tram 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér.
5. Travel for 2 stops and alight at Király utca / Erzsébet körút..

Step 3: Walk to Király utca 51

1. From the Király utca / Erzsébet körút tram stop, walk for 4 minutes and you will arrive at Király utca 51.

 Arriving from Kelenföld:

Step 1: Take the Metro M4 (Green Line)

1. Board Metro M4 at Kelenföld station.
2. Travel towards Keleti Pályaudvar and alight at Rákóczi tér (7 stops).

      Step 2: Take Tram 4 or 6

1. At Rákóczi tér, exit the metro and walk to the tram stop.
2. Board Tram 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér.
3. Travel for 3 stops and alight at Király utca / Erzsébet körút.

Step 3: Walk to Király utca 51

1. From the Király utca / Erzsébet körút tram stop, walk for 4 minutes and you will arrive at Király utca 51.

Arriving from Nyugati Pályaudvar: 

1. Board Tram 4 or 6 at Nyugati Pályaudvar tram stop.
2. Travel towards Újbuda Központ (2 stops) alight at Király utca / Erzsébet körút..
3. From the Király utca / Erzsébet körút tram stop, walk for 4 minutes and you will arrive at Király utca 51.

Parking

Street parking is available in the city center for a fee of 600 HUF/hour, free after 10 pm until 8 am in the morning and from 10 pm Friday until 8 am Monday. For payments we suggest you download the ‘Simple’ application, because it is easy to track, and it shows the parking areas too.  

There is a parking garage nearby 5 minutes from the apartment, they have a daily fee of 16000 HUF (called: CarePark).
